Two days to go!
It is with quite some anticipation I write this at the end of my final day at work. In a day and a half, no less, Kate and I will be married. Can’t wait, quite frankly. Though I may get rather nervous tomorrow!
We’re going to post the occassional message from our St. Lucian paradise, so check back after the wedding for more messages. Pictures will be posted on our website once we get back.
See you all Saturday!

St Lucia is lovely. We stayed by Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay a few years ago.
My only tip is beware some of the hawkers on the beach and don’t even let them start a conversation. A firm “no thanks” is needed straight away. You could find yourself being emotionally blackmailed into buying from them otherwise.
Make sure you go on a whale watching trip, or the cruise down to the Pitons. The island is even more beautiful from the sea.
Soufriere, the “drive in volcano” is a worth a visit, but it’s not as impressive as it sounds. The gardens and the beautiful Diamond Falls nearby are worth stopping at as well.
Have a great time, and I’ll be checking the blog regularly for photos!
See you on the big day!

Saturday the 10th June 2006.
It was a perfect wedding for a perfect couple with buckets of emotion and humour. The food, wine and bubbly were all superb and the sun shone all day long.
Who else but Kate and Simon would have a wedding cake made from cheese and celebrate the end of the wedding ceremony with the theme tune from “Indiana Jones”.
The guests laughed a lot, especially at the speeches, chatted a lot and I seem to remember kissing lots of lovely ladies, thanks girls.
It really was a perfect day and one that Kate and Simon made there own.
May your love for each other last forever.
